Welcome to BrauHaus Cafe, a hidden gem located on Seoul Street in Ulaanbaatar that has been captivating locals and visitors alike for two decades. As a charming café and brewery, it beautifully marries traditional brewing with a warm, inviting atmosphere reminiscent of old-world Europe.

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by the rustic charm of an authentic brew house. The ambiance transports you back in time, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or to catch up with friends. With dark wooden furniture and vintage decor, the café feels cozy yet vibrant, encouraging a sense of community among its patrons.

BrauHaus Cafe is celebrated for its carefully crafted in-house brews, specifically its Pale Ale and Dark beer. Each sip reveals the artistry of local brewing, leaving your tastebuds to dance with the rich flavors and smooth finishes. As reviewer Michael Iselt notes, both beers are “ganz gut,” showcasing the mastery behind their brewing process. These artisanal offerings are accompanied by a variety of imported beers, presenting a diverse selection that caters to all palates.

Customer experiences speak volumes - Mark Rosenwald reminisces about his visits spanning 20 years, underscoring the café's ability to evoke nostalgia while still holding strong in quality over the years. The warm, inviting service enhances your experience, as Jacqueline Rutkowski pointed out, saying it’s a great bar for having a beer at the end of the day, where the charm isn’t just in the beer but also in the ambiance and the local crowd.

For those looking to indulge in a bite to eat, while the café boasts a limited menu, you can expect a delightful burger and pizza, as cited by Matt, who rated the pizza highly at a 4/5. While the food may not steal the show, it certainly complements the star of the evening – the exceptional beers. The friendly staff is more than willing to guide you through their offerings and share insights about the brewing process, giving you a deeper appreciation for your drink.

With quality craft beers, an inviting atmosphere, and a slice of Ulaanbaatar's cultural history, BrauHaus Cafe is more than just a stop – it's an experience. Whether you're a long-time patron or a first-time visitor, this café offers something special for everyone. So grab a friend, enjoy the live music, and relish in the distinct flavors of Mongolia at BrauHaus Cafe – you won’t regret it!

I used to come here 20 years ago with friends to drink some good beer and it's held up all this time. It reminds me of an older time and UB. Keep up the good work.

Boa musica! Vale visitar!

They only have their own two beers on tap, but they're delicious! I tried the burger (2/5) and the pizza (4/5). The waiter was kind enough to show me the back where the beer is brewed. Definitely worth a visit or two :)
